T4 Madrid Barajas will be renewed with a new digital signage circuit
With the aim of improving the quality and commercial offer with exclusive environments and enhancing the user purchasing experience with new technologies, T4 Madrid Barajas will renew and increase its digital signage network.
Large format digital screens and more interactive information and commercial promotion terminals for passengers will be the main elements that will be installed in T4 Madrid Barajas (including the satellite terminal) to improve quality and commercial offer, as well as the user experience in their transit through this terminal, according to information offered by the newspaper ABC, who has had exclusive access to the installation sketches of the new digital signage network.
This new commercial and information model, based on digital and interactive systems in strategic transit areas and new rest areas of the terminal, aims to increase the offer of luxury products and offers to the passenger, in what will be called MAD Fashion HUB, to which some seventeen commercial premises have been added, and that will be located in front of the “duty free” stores, as explained in the Madrid newspaper.
The terminal is currently carrying out works to launch this modernization project., which is expected to end next year. The large-format screens in the new rest areas, composed of four large displays according to the newspaper data, will offer promotional content, cultural and interest of the city of Madrid, as well as its leisure and entertainment offer.
Interactive digital terminals will mainly offer information for the traveler, as orientation maps of the terminal, of flights and commercial offers, catering and terminal services.
The concession through competition for the advertising exploitation of the terminals corresponds to Cemusa, Although the company does not currently offer data on how it will carry out this digital circuit, and it is not ruled out that some important international company with a notable presence in this type of projects in other airports in the world may participate in it..
Since the year 2011, as reported Digital AV Magazine, T4 Madrid Barajas has two large full HD video walls, in configuration of 5×5, in the boarding area.
