Both in the tourist center of Palma de Mallorca and in Ibiza, which was inaugurated this summer, It has been decided to create the sound infrastructure by integrating the Funktion One speakers and the amplifiers. Powersoft.

At the Nikki Beach in Mallorca, a system with distributed and controlled sound has been implemented in several areas with independent digital processors and acoustic enclosures with controlled coverage have been used.. Each of the zones is provided with sound with the appropriate type of speaker for optimal coverage, affecting, the minimum, the surrounding areas. Funktion One F81 speakers have been installed in the terrace area, placed in pairs to distribute the sound with minimal phase problems, about three meters from the ground and oriented towards the ground with an angle of about 30º to avoid sound in other areas.

This hotel center has two beach bars, one in octagonal shape in which Funktion One F101 speakers have been chosen, and another on the beach where the chosen model was the F55, consisting of two 5” speakers, to give presence to that area without the need for acoustic pressure that causes inconvenience to neighbors or neighboring areas. The speakers are directed inwards at a very low volume level.

Finally, R2SH speakers from the same manufacturer have been placed in the pool. The R2SH acoustic enclosure is designed to have exceptional control of its directivity in its frequency range with a horizontal coverage of 50º and vertical coverage of 25º, so when oriented it allows it to affect only the areas chosen to be loud and minimize the sound emitted in the unwanted direction..

This entire sound infrastructure is powered by Powersoft K2 stages and each of the 12 zones are controlled by an XTA DC1042 digital processor for optimal response and to be able to incorporate dedicated settings.

Sound system by area in Ibiza

At the Nikki Beach in Ibiza it has also been decided to distribute the sound by zones and adapt it to the needs of each of them..

The restaurant has four Funktion One F81 speakers, while in the pool and bar there are six Funktion One F101 speakers, two of them facing the pool and four covering the bar, with a subgrave F118; and six Funktion One F101 speakers have been placed on the terrace, evenly distributed to cover the entire area.

Regarding beach bars, The one on the beach has two Funktion One F55 units; and to provide sound in the octagonal, three Funktion One R2U speakers have been arranged facing the pool and center court., having an F218 subwoofer as its main sound. Two F101s cover the sides of this area.

This entire installation is powered by Powersoft K2 and Q3002 amplifier stages., controlled by two XTA DC1042 digital processors.
