On the facade of the La Vitrine building in Montreal, Moment Factory has installed a show where light effects are combined with video projections where both artistic and informative content is offered.

The cultural organization La Vitrine has expanded the multimedia project it carried out in 2012 inside the building and at the entrance door, and has transferred this multimedia experience of light and color to the outside. The façade on the corner of the legendary St.. Catherine y Saint Laurent, in the heart of Montreal's Entertainment District (Canada), is permanently illuminated with a multimedia projection made by Moment Factory. A multidisciplinary show that covers the hallways of the three floors of the building and transforms its surface into an environment where video projections are combined with artistic and informative content of the city's latest cultural offerings..

This new creation is an extension of the installation designed in the year 2012 and that allows La Vitrine to display its information using new technologies, where the panels, light and touch screens are the real protagonists.

The lighting event created by Moment Factory is a great cultural attraction for this leisure area that has thirty rooms for shows, like those in the Plaza de las Artes, and several art galleries and spaces for the dissemination of alternative culture. In La Vitrine it is possible to see the show schedule. It's like a kind of centralized ticket office like those in London, New York and Boston, where you can get last minute tickets with considerable discounts.

Moment Factory has transformed the façade of the building with its light show, composed of conventional LED panels, that walk through the hallways and, besides, has created a gigantic 2-22 that aims to tell stories of the neighborhood and bring iconic locations to life through the creative use of light to pay tribute to the evolution of this mythical space in Montreal's urban landscape.

Moment Factory in La Vitrine (Montreal)Among the many features created especially for the 2-22 is found Urban Clock, a sixty-second capsule that synchronizes all visual components of the building every hour. The other features are made up of various graphic messages that play with the optical illusion.

The architecture of 2-22 , made by the Angus Development Corporation, in consortium with Building the Huot, in the Shidid Factory inspired, who wanted to highlight the architectural gesture with various multimedia components. Video effects and lighting are controlled by X-Now while the technological system is from Moment Factory.

Like a real urban theater, the building is lively 24 hours of the day, los 365 days of the year days of the year , and has become versatile enough to accommodate the different programs held in the city.

Moment Factory already participated in another installation that was carried out in this building in 2012. As with the current project, The design created last year was intended to attract the attention of passers-by and, for it, A large interactive “wall” integrated with LEDs was implemented. The screen interface is equipped with a series of sensors that transform the property into a luminous creation, adding a new dimension to the neighborhood.

Moment Factory used tracking motion devices in this permanent interactive installation. Interactive games designed by Moment Factory and cultural information about the area are offered on this large LED screen 250 square meters composed of 35.000 low resolution bulbs.
