Yamaha Music Europe has taken advantage of its participation in Integrated Systems Europe 2014 to present its renewed MG Series mixing consoles to the European professional audio market, that the multinational had shown for the first time a month ago at the last edition of NAMM, in las vegas, and new systems for installation.

The renewed generation of compact MG Series mixers Yamaha has been one of the claims of the audio multinational in its participation in WHEREAS 2014 (hall 3, stand A112) to announce to professionals its availability in the European market.

Developed in response to customer requests, Yamaha MG Series has been completely redesigned, with significant improvements in ease of use and greater features, without giving up their high level of reliability and performance, which has become an industry standard.

According to Yamaha technicians, “each model in the new series has been redesigned to enhance its durability, incorporating features that increase its resistance to the conditions and risks that occur in ephemeral installations. The chassis structure has also been reinforced, now much stronger and powder coated, in addition to locating the controls above the surface of the chassis to prevent the internal components from absorbing impacts.”.

Yamaha MG SerieWith a total of ten models, MG Series now offers five standard systems ranging from six to twenty input channels to suit all needs, to which an equal number are added with the XU variant (only X in the case of the MG06 model) featuring SPX effects processors .

Especially indicated for portable mixing applications, All models feature Class A D-PRE mic preamps, with inverted Darlington circuit topography, as well as new operational amplifiers developed especially for these consoles, offering higher power with low impedance and distortion.

The XU models have, as already noted, of twenty-four different SPX effects, compared to the sixteen original MG Series, plus USB audio interface 2.0 a 24 bits/192 kHz, allowing you to play digital music files from a PC or record the mixer output thanks to DAW software.

Yamaha also shows in its space at ISE 2014, as he advanced Digital AV Magazine, its new solutions and systems for the installation market (CIS), such as XMV multichannel amplifiers, MTX processors and DCP audio controllers, to which are now added the VXC and VXS speakers, EN54 certified for use in PA/VA voice evacuation and alarm systems.

The CISSCA software is also added to this., available for free download on the Yamaha Pro Audio website, a Windows application so that professionals can quickly and accurately calculate the number of speakers needed in a given facility or space and provide optimal coverage and quality of the sound system, including the required sound pressure level.
