Within the framework of the 15th anniversary of the VIDA Awards 15.0, that are celebrated until next 20 April at the Telefónica Foundation Space, This organization wanted to show Madrid citizens “the most vivid side of technology” with an interactive installation made up of a large mirror screen with sensors, that replicates people's body movements.

Until next time 20 April, citizens who want to know “the most alive side of technology”, as their motto says, they can learn about and live a science experience, art and technology in first person in a playful way in the Telefónica Foundation Space in Madrid, in the plant 2.

This initiative to bring technology to the public is part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Vida Awards, a contest created in 1999 by Fundación Telefónica dedicated to emerging art manifestations, technology and artificial life.

One of the most innovative activities is an interactive installation, composed of a large mirror screen from the company that incorporates motion sensors, in which the body movements made by people are replicated in a fun way and converted into artificial life.

This interactive installation, which was recently available to the public in Madrid's Callao cinemas (as the attached video shows), and now it is in the Telefónica Foundation Space, aims to disseminate the fusion between science, until, technology and education, in order for users to interact naturally with systems that are an everyday part of people's lives.

Besides, Users can also see an exhibition, which includes the projects awarded in the Vida Awards, as well as an informative documentary, directed by José Luis López Linares, about the history of artificial life and its connection to these awards.

One of the new features this year is the launch of the educational program 'Experience Life', dedicated to young people and children interested in learning about the intersection of art and artificial life, which is complemented by informative talks and workshops that bring together all the disciplines covered by this event..
