IT El Corte Inglés, technological consultancy of the El Corte Inglés Group has signed with the Althaia Foundation from Manresa, healthcare network that offers comprehensive health services, a research and collaboration agreement to develop a technological platform that improves the management and care of patients with complex chronic pathologies (PCC).
This agreement will result in the development of a computer application that will allow the implementation of a management and monitoring model for patients with PCC., more efficient and with important improvements for the patient. Through this application, Health personnel will be able to monitor patients remotely, being completely parameterizable and customizable.
With this solution, Patients will be able to have exhaustive monitoring of their pathology and doctors will be able to identify alarms based on the different monitored parameters., allowing to identify any alteration in the patient and act more quickly. The platform is being designed to offer collaborative work between the different health and social care levels.
The project incorporates different technological tools that allow a constant relationship between the professional and the patient.. Besides, The project contemplates that the patient can maintain the relationship with his reference center and his doctor through mobile devices.
This new platform for care of complex chronic patients (PAPCC) what, will be available in a first pilot phase, approximately in six months, provides a complete vision of care management, adapting to the procedures of complex chronic patients.
