A large video wall welcomes visitors to Ottawa's Performance Court
The Winter Garden area at Ottawa's Performance Court is dominated by a video wall of 26 metros, composed of 48 Microtiles de Christie, with multi-touch capabilities, y 72 Boat LED.

Different technological solutions have been used in this building in order to provide an immersive experience, interactive, gestural, dynamic and passive at a given moment.
In the hall of the building, Visitors are greeted by a large irregular video wall located in the area called Winter Garden that can be viewed from both the inside and the outside.. It is a dynamic public space designed for receptions, exhibitions, shows, conferences and presentations.
The goal was to create a canvas that could be used for receptions, exhibitions, shows, conferences or presentations, as well as offering immersive and interactive experiences. In addition, It also serves as a support to offer news, report on the weather and provide explanations about the sustainability and construction of the building. A whole set of contents that can be personalized and adapt to each circumstance and need.
To design this “digital wall” the services of the Canadian company Bruce Mau Design were hired., while the technical part was in charge of the digital signage specialist Cineplex Digital Solutions who opted for technology Christie y Barco for the installation of this video wall 26,5 meters high by 21,5 meters wide.
For its construction, they have been used 48 Microtiles de Christie, with multi-touch capabilities, y 72 Barco LED to form a uniquely shaped digital canvas. It also incorporates sensory cameras to provide interactivity and the Custom Content Management System software to manage the different technologies and allow the public to interact with the content..
The result is a large screen that can be divided into four interactive zones so that it can be used by several users at the same time..
