On Monday 21 April is the deadline for readers to vote for the finalists of the 1st Panorama Awards

With the aim of recognizing excellence, technological development and business innovation, professionals and television productions, cine, radio and advertising, Panorama Audiovisual magazine has established the 1st Panorama Awards. The winner selection process consists of two phases and the first, in which it is the readers of the magazine who vote for the finalists, will conclude next Monday 21 April.

There are only five days left until the deadline to vote for the finalists of the 1st Panorama Awards. Some awards that have been established by the magazine Panorama Audiovisual and that aim to recognize excellence, technological development and business innovation, professionals and television productions, cine, radio and advertising. The objective is to energize the sector by promoting organizations to make better use of technology to be competitive., as well as recognizing those most innovative projects and productions.

As we already published in Digital AV Magazine, The 1st Panorama Awards consist of thirteen categories that recognize technological equipment and solutions, facilities and projects, as well as the technical execution of television and radio programs, film productions and spots.

Added to these categories is the Panorama Award for 'A Whole Life'’ which will be delivered annually by direct designation of the Panorama Audiovisual editorial team to a professional in recognition of a long career linked to television technology, cine, radio or advertising.

Selection process

After this first phase, which ends on Monday 21 April, and in which readers will be the ones to vote for a finalist per category, will move on to a second round in which a Jury, composed of eleven independent professionals of recognized solvency and in a secret vote before a Notary, they will choose the winners.

To preserve independence and transparency throughout the process, the members of the Jury and their verdict will only be announced on the same night as the Panorama Awards, which will be next 20 May at Madrid Fair (IFEMA), coinciding with the opening of the BIT Broadcast International Audiovisual Technology Exhibition 2014.
