Augmented reality applications have been the center of attention at Droidcon Berlin 2014, which has been celebrated 8 al 10 May in the German capital, where Epson presented the new Moverio BT-200 to the European Android community.

The new Moverio BT-200 smart glasses from Epson, with binocular transparent vision and based on Android environment, have starred in the participation of this company in Droidcon Berlin 2014, contest in which the most influential European Android developers meet, and with which the Japanese multinational has wanted to establish relationships for the creation of innovative applications with its device, especially in the augmented reality environment.

This is what Valerie Riffaud-Cangelosi has pointed out, senior manager de Epson Europe: “just as smart devices presented new opportunities when they were launched a decade ago, The Moverio BT-200 are generating a new terrain of options, allowing Android developers to take applications to a new level, since we think they have much greater potential than tablets or smart devices, and offer the opportunity to change the way the world consumes information and content”.

In this sense, Riffaud-Cangelosi emphasizes the importance of having “the experience and creativity of minds from the Android community to help us develop applications that make the most of our revolutionary technology integrated into the Moverio BT-200”.
