Bloomberg LP, company providing financial information and news, y London City Airport (LCY) have signed a three-year agreement to launch an immersive experience, denominada Bloomber Hub, which has as its axis a complete digital signage solution.

Opened in the spring of this year, Bloomberg Hub is designed to improve the experience of those close to 3,4 million travelers passing through the LCY each year. With almost two-thirds of passengers traveling for business, Bloomberg Hub offers current news and information, relevant and valuable for that type of passengers.

Bloomberg Hub is a project integrated by different technological aspects. Firstly, there is the so-called Media Panel, which is made up of six screens. 55 inches with 4K resolution and is responsible for checking security and entry passport control.

In the same area a ticket screen has been located. 130 meters that, in their 23 millions of LEDs, shows news headlines, financial information, as well as the climate and weather in various parts of the world, configured according to LCY flight destinations.

The Bloomberg Hub also includes a living room of more than 260 square meters, with capacity for more than 180 travelers, which is made up of six different areas so that travelers can rest or work with the tablets installed there, while they wait to board.

The centerpiece of this room is a video screen composed of a dozen screens 55 inches 4K, a composition that measures 7,2 meters long by 3,1 meters high and has dynamic data, including stock market data, news summaries, rankings, indexes and tables.
