The Carlos III University of Madrid awards Vitelsa the maintenance of its AV and videoconferencing systems
In the year in which it celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary, The Carlos III University of Madrid has awarded the contract for technical assistance and maintenance of all its audiovisual and video communications systems to Vitelsa.
Vitelsa has had the trust of the Carlos III University for the award of the outsourcing contract for all its technical services for the operation and maintenance of audiovisual media and video communications, whose decisive factors in this award have been “the quality of the proposal for specialized technical services from the Vitelsa Group, “its specialized team of technical operators and its extensive experience in the management of advanced audiovisual technologies”.
This contract includes the provision of preventive maintenance activities, corrective and technical assistance for all audiovisual and video communications equipment distributed in the multiple buildings of the Carlos III University of Madrid, with a fully customized Service Level Agreement that allows Vitelsa to offer the high availability required by this academic institution.
As this company points out, The management of this project is complex due to the high volume of managed facilities, with more than fifteen auditoriums and assembly halls and more than three hundred classrooms and laboratories, distributed across five different campuses in the Community of Madrid and the need to provide coverage for equipment from multiple manufacturers and with different degrees of obsolescence.
In order to provide an adequate response to a project of these characteristics, Vitelsa has set up a specialized technical team to cover technical incidents that appear on the Getafe campuses., Madrid (Gate of Toledo), Leganés and Colmenarejo. Additionally, The company has also assigned specific personnel to provide coverage for the technical assistance required for the numerous events and presentations scheduled in the different buildings of this institution..
Created in 1989, This public and innovative university celebrates its twenty-five years of academic history this year., which currently has facilities of more than 270.000 m2 built, that welcome more than 18.000 students and are distributed in 31 buildings grouped into a total of five campuses: Getafe, Leganes, Colmenarejo and in the center of the city of Madrid, at the Puerta de Toledo Campus, where graduate programs are concentrated.
