The new Global Services Center (GSC) of Cisco in Mexico City, the fifth in this country for the multinational, brings together the Global Technical Center areas, Latin America Technical Assistance Center y Global Delivery Center, with the aim of supporting and supporting the company's clients in more than a hundred countries to offer services through multiple groups, which include services, finance and operations, inter alia, and support in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

The inauguration of the GSC is part of the investment item that John Chambers, CEO de Cisco Systems, announced last year in Davos (Swiss), before the president of Mexico, Enrique Pena, showing the commitment of this company to promote the economy and the development of new opportunities in this country.

Located on Insurgentes Avenue, south of Mexico City, This new center has an area of ​​more than 9.200 square meters, which are distributed in 138 meeting rooms for individual work and small groups, as well as twenty-two spaces equipped with the latest generation of Cisco TelePresence systems, laboratories and five eCafes for a staff of 360 employees.

In order to practically replicate the challenges that clients have, The center has two laboratories; The main one is part of the global network of connected laboratories that can be accessed remotely by authorized Cisco engineers to resolve the most complex issues that may arise., since in them you can recreate environments and scenarios to test configurations and previously design the routing and switching solution., collaboration, security, data center, mobility, wireless communication, video for service providers and telepresence.

The laboratories are also used for practical tests (hands on lab) de Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE), one of the main certifications offered by the company and recognized worldwide in industry networks.

The telepresence room features an iX500 system to provide a high-quality video collaboration experience that requires only half the bandwidth of previous three-screen equipment, thanks to H.265 compression, and very low energy consumption.
