'The Experience' promotes leisure and training with digital signage and IPTV from Tripleplay
A digital signage system, supported by Samsung screens, and a Tripleplay IPTV channel to provide informative and live television content has been the commitment made by 'The Experience', a philanthropic space for leisure and training located in the Scottish town of Glasgow.
‘The Experience'is a space for entertainment and leisure, as well as training and conferences, created in the Scottish town of Glasgow to provide a work environment for marginalized people, where they can learn a trade to carry out their work in hotels, cafes, customer service, karting track, among other activities.
Together with the academy, The karting track is the main area of this center, which serves as an attraction to raise funds and provide work for many people. To improve both the visitor experience and communication with the companies that collaborate in it., Its managers have decided to opt for digital communication to address all areas of activities, as well as providing informative and promotional content with an IPTV channel.
The project has had the collaboration of Scotia UK, distributor of audiovisual systems specialist Tripleplay in this area, which has deployed fourteen digital signage screens from the firm Samsung, in different formats, through the busiest areas of the venue (training rooms, reception, restaurant and entrance to the karting track), each of them with the capacity to offer live television content with Tripleplay's IPTV solution.
One of the challenges has been the location of the screens, since 'The Experience' is located in a very large building, with many different areas, where the main protagonist is the karting track, so facilitate communication not only visual, but audio to ensure that the intercom could be heard anywhere was a priority.
For this, integrator Scotia UK installed Beng V9B speaker systems, discreetly fixed to walls and ceilings so as not to interfere with the aesthetics of the premises. Added to this is the microphone for the intercom system, which is located in the control room, to which is added the placement of a projector Panasonic in the waiting room, located before the runway, to display race scores, time, etc.
As Tim Hoddy points out, Tripleplay sales director, “We are very happy to collaborate with a philanthropic company that has made 'The Experience' a great center to promote fun, leisure and tourism in Scotland with training for people who need it, and I believe that our digital signage and IPTV solution will help them positively”.
