Bose Professional: first self-powered speaker with vertical coverage control

The audio manufacturer Bose Professional has developed the first portable self-powered speaker, F1 Model 812 together with the F1 Subwoofer model, allowing the user to control their vertical coverage. This system, which expands this company's range of portable PA products, Designed to work in an even wider variety of applications than L1 systems.

As far as technical details are concerned, F1 Model 812 It offers a power of 1,000W and weighs 19 Kg, while Bose F1 Subwoofer, Also with 1,000W it has a weight of 24 kg.

Specifically, F1 Model 812 offers the user the ability to optimize sound by creating up to four different vertical coverage patterns, while the system provides great power and clarity, as well as versatility for different applications and rooms, as it is suitable for live music, DJs or PA applications for musical groups, schools, leisure venues, companies, places of worship, rental companies, auditoriums with public in stands, etc.

Using the F1 system, sound can be optimized to play towards the audience at ground level, on the stage or towards the audience in the stands.

To control the vertical coverage pattern, the user simply pulls or pushes the array to create a 'straight' coverage pattern (control vertical mayor, for public coverage at ground level), ‘J’ (vertical downward coverage adjustment, when the PA is on stage), ‘C’ (up and down vertical coverage adjustment, to cover public in stands), an 'Inverted J' (vertical up coverage adjustment, for example in stands with the BP down).
