Elation lights up Stagecoach country music festival with its Platinum systems

Stagecoach festival used Elation Professional equipment for its lighting, project for which a total of 15 Platinum BX equipment and 72 Platinum Beam 5R Extreme.

Stagecoach country music festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club in the city of Indio (California), the weekend after the well-known Coachella rock festival. Both events share a location and also the company responsible for the production of these two macro-festivals..

Stagecoach festival has established itself in recent years as the most popular country music festival in the world. This year's edition sold out and has had a total attendance during the three days of concerts of about 210.000 personas, with an average of 70.000 attendees every day. The lighting company Visions Lighting trusted the Beam Platinum BX and Platinum Beam 5R Extreme moving heads from Elation Professional, brand that distributes Visualsvisuals, to achieve spectacular tracer effects on the two main stages of the festival: ‘Mane’ and ‘Palomino’.

Mane Scenario

“We have been working at Coachella for years but this has been our first year at the Stagecoach festival. Attendees at this type of concert have greatly increased in number and expect a production design on par with rock concerts.. On the main stage, ‘Mane’, were used 15 units of the new Beam type Elation Platinum BX moving head, which features the Philips Platinum 17RA lamp 20.000 lumens of power and a consumption of 350 watts. The optical system and the width of the lens provide a 3° aperture beam of great brightness.

They were also used in this scenario 24 Platinum Beam 5R Extreme moving head units, that provides Beam effects with high speed of movement and has the Philips Platinum 5R lamp 8.000 lumen y 189 consumption watts.

Palomino Stage

Visions Lighting also provided lighting equipment for the Coachella festival, which took place in the same venue as Stagecoach festival, just one weekend before.

In the second scenario, ‘Palomino’, and under a large metal structure, others were used 48 Beam 5R Extreme units as part of a lighting design that, just like on the main stage, included specific equipment for the headliners.
