The Arnette-O'Marisquiño XV multidisciplinary Urban Culture event that was held in Vigo del 7 al 9 August has included among its activities an immersive experience that has allowed the user to be placed at the center of one of the most impressive scenes in the new Tom Cruise film, Mission Impossible: Secret Nation.
The development and production of this content with virtual reality has been carried out by the Spanish company inMediaStudio Communication which has almost three years of experience applying this type of technologies to different business sectors and for purposes such as training, marketing or entertainment.
On this occasion, The special action of the MEC agency for Paramount Pictures Spain at the premiere of the film has allowed the viewer to see themselves in the skin of the protagonist. The experience recreates a scene in which Tom Cruise remains clinging to the fuselage of a plane while it takes off.
In addition to the virtual reality application that is displayed with popular Oculus Rift, The experience acquires great realism thanks to the construction of a stand that simulates the fuselage of the aircraft, placing the suspended user in the same position as the protagonist, in addition to the installation, simulated wind systems, vibration and surround sound.
