Seville will host the first world summit that will unite content and technology around 4K

4K World Summit Seville will bring together the days 5 y 6 November in the Andalusian capital to professionals from all over the world to debate and share experiences on the production and distribution of content in Ultra High Definition.

Organized by the producer Medina Media, with the support of the association Digital Communication y Panorama Audiovisual as media partner, the next 5 y 6 November Seville will host one of the largest world events dedicated to Ultra High Definition.

Production companies, professionals, broadcasters, distributors, platforms and manufacturers familiar with 4K environments will share experiences, needs and solutions in the 4To the World Summit Seville.

4K World Summit will bring together prominent international experts in the production and distribution of Ultra High Definition content in the Andalusian capital, with demonstrations of the latest advances in transmission, UHD encoding and production. Companies like RTVE, Hispasat, RTVA, Cellnex, Sky Europe and BBC will carry out demonstrations of 4K broadcasts over DTT, satellite and OTT.

The 4K World Summit Seville program has also included presentations and round tables, in which representatives of broadcasters and the main manufacturers will participate, to share the first experiences in Ultra High Definition and the future of 4K.

The opening conference on Thursday 5 November will be led by Thierry Fautier, president of UHD Forum that will address the current ecosystem available on the market in Ultra High Definition, will share with those present his perspective on the current moment and the road map that will follow the short format, medium and long term. Two round tables will discuss the current state of Ultra High Definition throughout the entire chain, from the technical and practical point of view to production and broadcast.

The vision of producers like Medina Media, Kropac Media, DBW Communication or Non Stop will be debated in a panel featuring professionals who are already carrying out commercial productions in 4K.

The day's journey 5 will conclude with a round table in which representatives of prominent manufacturers who already have solutions for 4K production and broadcast in their portfolios will participate., as well as a series of screenings of the best audiovisual productions in Ultra High Definition by large chains.

Friday's opening session 6 November will be in the hands of SNL consultant and analyst Kahab, Mohammed Hamza.
