A rose-shaped structure illuminates the Hala Febrayer festival with its Led petals

Three hundred units of the Elation EZ6 LED video panel were used to form the circular rose-shaped structure that starred on the stage located on the Kuwait Ice Skating Rink rink.. The Hala Febrayer festival brings together more than 80.000 people every year in Kuwait. Celebrations and cultural activities are organized for a month, culminating with five consecutive nights of concerts that are broadcast on television and reach the highest audiences of the year throughout the Middle East area.

Each concert features three different artists each night, which makes it possible for the most famous artists of the Arab world to pass through the stage of this festival every year.. The location of this concert series has been the Kuwait Ice Skating Rink..

This year's edition of the Hala Febrayer was held in March and featured numerous teams of Elation Professional, brand represented by Visualsvisuals, for your video and lighting design, whose assembly has been the responsibility of the lighting company, sound and scenery iLight, located in Dubai. The production company Rotana Audio Visual has been in charge of the comprehensive production of the festival and its live broadcast.

This has been the first time that iLight has collaborated in the production of the Hala Febrayer festival and has used as a protagonist element, for lighting and video design, a concentric structure formed by sections of circular trusses of 4, 6 y 10 meters in diameter.

This structure represented a rose, with lighting devices distributed between these circles and with LED video screens representing the petals of the rose.
Three hundred units of the Elation EZ6 LED video panel have been used in this event, providing great dynamism and visual effect to the performances of the different artists.

In addition to suggesting the shape of the rose petals located around the truss circles, numerous EZ6 Led modules have been installed within the inner circle of the truss, giving rise to a circular screen from which different visual contents were shown during each performance.

The Elation EZ6 is a high definition LED panel 6 millimeters of pixel density that provides a luminosity of 1.800 nits and an image with uniform color and high contrast.

Spectacular lighting

Regarding lighting, for this event iLight has provided 75 Platinum Beam 5R beam type moving heads and 24 Platinum Spot 15R Pro spot type moving heads, in addition to other Elation devices such as bars and Par Led, nodos Art-Net y splitters DMX.

The design and control of lighting has been the responsibility of Helio, belonging to the company iLight and collaborator of Vince Aghnatios, founder of the company iLight and responsible for the project, who highlights the colors and definition of the beam projected by the Platinum Spot 15R Pro.

Las 24 Units of this moving head were distributed between the circular truss and the stage floor. For your part, las 75 Beam 5R units were positioned on various trusses behind the LED video screens; y 48 Led Par Opti Quad Par in circular truss structures, adding color and resources to lighting design.

Several units of the Led Elar Quad Bar were mounted at floor level of the stage to illuminate the artists.
