Con 175 years of history, The University of Winchester currently has about 7.500 enrolled students. Its catering department works to offer a healthy lifestyle to students and maintain customer service.

Eclipse and Elo Touch Winchester UniversityThis department was looking for a way to provide information about allergies, through a tool that allowed them to interact with students and staff.

“Our goal was to increase the availability of crucial information that university staff and students require about allergens in each of the dishes we offer on our menu daily.”, explains Rob Ferrin, Head of Media, University of Winchester Catering Department.

To achieve the objectives, they opted for a digital signage solution that was supplied by Eclipse Digital Media who chose to install the screen, with integrated PC, 3201L of Link Touch and the software Embed Signage, Allergy Information Board.

This is the first initiative of the project but its objective is to expand the structure and install more units.

“As a university we are committed to improving the student experience, This is why our objective is to expand this digital signage project in new points of sale”, adds Ferrin.
