Microsoft explains in SIMO Education 2016 the digital transformation of educational centers
The company has tripled the team dedicated to this sector, increased by a 350% Office deployment 365 in the classrooms and trained a hundred teachers in the MIE Experts program.
Office 365 focuses the technological project of Microsoft regarding education, that on the first day of SIMO Education 2016, that yesterday opened its doors in the pavilion 12 of Ifema – Madrid Fair, took stock of its activity in this area during the last year, in which it has tripled its team specialized in education (currently made up of fourteen people) and has increased a 350% the deployment of this system in educational centers, with more than 100.000 new Windows devices 10 in the classrooms, among other data.
“We are a team absolutely committed to the educational sector and we have a community of teachers, very large centers and experts focused on supporting and buying their didactic resources to do things differently, and those are our differentials”, Óscar Sanz has assured, director of education at Microsoft Ibérica.
The company's proposal in the digital transformation of the educational sector focuses on its Office productivity suite 365 and associated services (Skype, Minecraft Education Edition version, etc.), as well as in Educator Community, that in this edition 2016 of this contest has been awarded as the best educational social network.
The company's objective, as Sanz emphasizes, is “redesigning learning inside and outside the classroom through immersive experiences, in which the teacher continues to be an irreplaceable figure in the process of digital transformation of classrooms and centers, and we have the roadmap to achieve it”.
