Carlos III University continues to support Vitelsa for the expansion of its campuses
The last one was Madrid-Puerta Toledo, in which the number of classrooms has been increased and they have been equipped with complete AV equipment., Composed of a double HD projection system with high brightness and low noise, prepared to work with analog and digital inputs, and large format motorized screens.
The origin of the Carlos III University of Madrid dates back to 1989, moment when it was born with the vocation of being an innovative teaching center, medium-sized but with quality education and a strong commitment to research and new technologies. At the moment, has a clear international vocation that is characterized by the signing of agreements with universities from more than 52 countries, being part of some of the most prestigious academic rankings in the world.
Its facilities have more than 270.000 square meters built, that welcome more than 19.000 students distributed across four campuses, located in the municipalities of Getafe, Leganes, Colmenarejo and Madrid.
Recently, The Madrid-Puerta de Toledo campus has been expanded and Vitelsa has been the company responsible for designing, supply and implement technological equipment.
In the entrance hall, a high-resolution and bright projection system has been installed that projects on a large motorized screen., allowing an impressive presentation of institutional content intended for visitors and students of the center.
To power this system, various HD video sources have been installed., integrated with a sound and microphone system that allows the celebration and monitoring of events in the large entrance area.
Within the expansion project, the number of classrooms has been increased, for which an advanced technical design has been prepared that optimizes the performance of the equipment based on the characteristics of the rooms and facilitates daily operation and maintenance with high energy efficiency..
Each of the classrooms has been equipped with a double HD projection system with high brightness and low noise., prepared to work with analog and digital inputs and displayed on a large format motorized screen.
Each of the classrooms has HD audio and video infrastructure, specific connectors integrated into the teacher's table, that facilitate the insertion of both training and multimedia content.
The classrooms have also been equipped with an advanced sound system and wireless microphone that ensures the correct hearing of the speakers and facilitates great flexibility in the development of classes.. All these devices have been integrated into a single automatic control interface, that allows teachers complete control of the audiovisual resources installed in each classroom thanks to a simple button panel programmed by Vitelsa.
Similar to the start-up in the first phase, This expansion has also taken into account the creation of a computer room that includes the installation of an HD projection system and a large format motorized projection screen., capable of offering a projection of a size greater than those 100 inches. The classroom is equipped with a complete audio infrastructure, HD video and data, that allows the interconnection of multiple computer and audiovisual devices and ensures the adaptation of formats between them.
To improve the visibility of the video signal in the room, four large format Full HD LED monitors have been installed., that provide reinforcement to the main projection system.
The room also has a sound system and microphone to ensure the correct hearing of the speakers and students during the training sessions..
Within the same project, the new multimedia classroom has also been equipped with audiovisual equipment consisting of a system of robotic Full HD cameras and a video production system with the capacity to perform room streaming in real time..
A Full HD video matrix has also been implemented in the classroom., where multiple video sources are connected (webcams, video conference) and the room's HD projection system has been integrated, allowing both local display of signals and their distribution across infrastructure and audio connections, HD video and data.
Additionally, A large format monitor has been installed that allows speakers to monitor presentations.
The classroom also has a high-quality sound system integrated into the ceiling and microphone equipment on the presidential table., lectern and speakers table, plus another wireless system for the entire room.
All the systems in these classrooms have been integrated into a centralized control system, that allows you to easily manage all equipment from a touch interface.
Finally, the audiovisual equipment of a large number of Box rooms has been carried out.. These are spaces distributed throughout the campus that are specifically intended for students to organize meetings and work sessions within the campus itself..
For the proper development of these sessions, each of these rooms has data connectivity and professional presentation and sound equipment available to students of the postgraduate programs..
