Medina Media will organize the VR and AR Observatory at the Digital Content Center of Malaga

The days, that will take place on 19 y 20 next July is the first event that this company will hold in the capital of the Costa del Sol, after announcing that the third edition of 4K Summit also moves its headquarters to this city, as part of the agreement signed with the municipal company Promálaga to promote the area as a technological benchmark in Southern Europe.

Of the 19 al 20 next July, at the Digital Content Center of Malaga, Medina Media will organize ‘The VR/AR Observatory’, with the aim of analyzing the current and future situation of virtual and augmented reality technologies and productions 360 led by experts in the field who will participate in round tables and conferences, in addition to demonstrations.

This is what Ricardo Medina points out, CEO of Medina Media: “Technology developers and content creators will analyze where virtual and augmented reality is heading.”, both nationally and internationally”.

The agenda of these two days will also include presentations on the latest developments in smart glasses, cameras, platforms with these technologies, business internationalization, training, eSports and video games, among other proposals.

The celebration of 'El ObseRVatorio VR/AR' is part of the agreement signed between Medina Media and the municipal company Promálaga to turn this city into a benchmark for new technologies in Southern Europe. With this objective, Promálaga has launched the first Digital Content Hub in Spain, located in the old Tabacalera building, with a space of 6.000 m2 in a privileged location, next to the beaches of the capital.

This will also be the first event that Medina Media organizes this year in Malaga, after it was announced that the third edition of 4K Summit, that will be celebrated on days 8, 9 y 10 November, moves its headquarters from Seville to Malaga. Both calls will include the latest developments in the audiovisual and technological sector that will be presented in the coming weeks at MipTV in Cannes and at the NAB Show in Las Vegas., two of the most important content and technology conventions in the world, in which Medina Media will be present.
