Colcerámica is one of the six business units of the Colombian multinational Corona, dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of products that make up comprehensive solutions for bathrooms, kitchens and home coverings, workshops, commercial and institutional establishments. Within its objectives to improve customer service, has implemented an innovative shopping experience that allows you to design the bathroom using virtual reality.

For the implementation of this project, technology from Virtualware which has developed an interactive system that allows Corona Colcerámica customers to configure their bathroom and view it in an immersive way through virtual reality glasses Oculus Rift.

Through an interactive kiosk located in its Home Center and Hipercentro Corona shopping centers in Bogotá, the user can design the bathroom in dimensions and shape, add the products that Corona sells such as mirrors, washbasin, taps, furniture or sanitary, even change the materials of the walls and floors, so that once the space is configured, can experience their creation in an immersive way.

This pioneering project in Colombia, whose first installation is available in the Home Center shopping center in Bogotá, It has also been installed in the Hipercentro Corona Autopista Norte in the city of Bogotá and will be replicated, soon, in three Ideo shopping centers in Cali cities, Medellín and Bogotá.
