The new PS200 audio and video switchers/scalers and presentation, PS200T and PS300T are based on HQ Ultra 4K image processing technology, to deliver the best image quality with low latency.

Optoma Chameleon ps200-300

Designed for fixed installation applications where optimal video switching and scaling is required, the Chameleon PS200/300 series of processors Optoma Delivers a professional-quality presentation in meeting and board rooms, classrooms and auditoriums, as they have been developed to work with this manufacturer's range of ProScene projectors.

Justin Halls, Optoma EMEA CTO, has pointed out that “HQ Ultra technology was chosen to power the large video walls used at the Rio Olympic Games, the same one that powers the new range of Chameleon products”.

Each model can change input channels in just 0,25 seconds, providing ultra-fast transitions for a seamless look on screen, compared to single channel switches, which can take up to 3 from 4 seconds. “The change is so fast that you can change fonts without the audience noticing”, Halls assures.

Optoma Amazing ColourChameleon PS200/300 series uses HQ Ultra 4K technology, offering best-in-class video quality, even with high scale factors, with clear images, clear and without halo effects. These systems accept 4K inputs with refresh rates up to 60Hz and can downscale to any lower resolution.

With exceptional low latency, input video is processed with a single frame delay, something fundamental in live 'Imag' presentations, where lip sync must be maintained in audio and video or for simulation or games where response times are critical.

Each model is equipped with eight-line stereo audio inputs, plus two microphone inputs with Phantom power. It also incorporates an audio mixer and a 30W stereo amplifier with two speaker outputs.. Despite the small dimensions of the new Chameleon signal processors, The power amplifier allows you to directly connect the speakers without the need for an external one.

For use and broadcast with camera, Model PS300T provides a Genlock input supporting bi- or tri-level or black and burst sync.
