Brainstorm and never.no offer comprehensive management of augmented reality 3D graphics with OnMedia
Both companies will present this solution for the first time at NAB 2018, which is part of the Visual Media project within the Europe program 2020 Horizon.
The real-time 3D graphics developer Brainstorm, along with live social media content management and publishing specialist never.no have developed OnMedia, a comprehensive solution for managing 3D augmented reality graphics based on social media feeds.
OnMedia is one of the developments originated in the VisualMedia project, which is part of the Europe program 2020 Horizon, headed by Brainstorm and never.no, which is funded by the European Commission in response to the needs of the creative industries in the broadcast and AV sector, and which will be presented for the first time in NAB 2018, of the 7 al 12 April in Las Vegas.
This solution integrates the technologies of both companies, since it uses the power of its 3D graphics engine to display information gathered and structured from the Internet. The professional can select the information, edit chart template, publish it and send the chart to any operator's workflow or even send it directly live, presenting information in an attractive way.
Another of its differentials is that it allows the management, personalizing and publishing social media content in the form of 3D graphics and second screen content, providing a production flow hitherto unheard of in conventional broadcast environments. It is also a scalable solution, that adapts to the needs of local television stations, regional or national indistinctly, as well as those of producers of all kinds.
For David Alexander, Brainstorm commercial director, “OnMedia helps television networks increase the loyalty of their audience by providing a unique comprehensive solution for social media graphics management based on the more than twenty years of experience that our company has in the real-time graphics sector for this industry”.
Scott Davies, CEO of never.no, He adds that “OnMedia goes beyond what is expected when it comes to displaying social media data in a visually dynamic television format.”, as it adds a workflow not normally found in a broadcast environment to use. While visualization is the key, since producers, journalists and editors can gather, Moderate and build visual formats in real time with the ability to make changes through a single interface, something that until now did not exist in this industry.
During his participation in NAB 2018, Both companies will demo OnMedia to show how to manage live social media content, control and preview scenes, publish content in the form of 3D graphics and virtual studio, control gestures and sync everything with second screen apps.
