InFocus PixelNet 2.0 offers higher video and audio quality
The new version supports native 4K resolution, fiber and audio network for a scalable, ultra-high definition video distribution system that can support an unlimited number of inputs and displays in multiple locations.
InFocus presented at the Amsterdam fair (WHEREAS 2018) an upgrade to your Jupiter PixelNet distributed display panel system.
“PixelNet made its debut in 2008. Now, Leveraging a decade of experience and the latest technologies, we have boosted PixelNet 2.0 to offer greater benefits. The result is greater scalability, higher video and audio quality, “more flexibility and more value”, comments Brady O. Bruce, CMO de InFocus.
New distributed display panel system increases processing power density, connect more sources and displays to a single input or output node, while providing centralized control to support a wide variety of installations with live audio and video, streaming data and other real-time information sources for control rooms and conferences, lobby displays, offices and classrooms.
New features enable real-time viewing in HD or 4K to a virtually unlimited number of screens located throughout a building or campus.
Input and output nodes can be configured with fiber optic connections via SFP+ or Ethernet. Fiber network capabilities allow PixelNet 2.0 Support very large distributed systems with an unlimited number of sources and displays in multiple locations and geographies.
Applications including redundant control room video wall displays in multiple locations, process management and manufacturing and digital signage. Los sistemas PixelNet 2.0 They can scale to fit any need and connect and distribute video throughout buildings, campus or global networks.
With PixelNet Domain Control (PDC), Centralized configuration and administration of the system and its contents are simple. PDC imitation feature allows operators to view any video wall or single screen on the network, placing video or data sources in a window anywhere on the video wall or within a single screen.
A single source of information can be spread across a large format video wall for easy viewing, o Multiple sources can be viewed in many windows to allow simultaneous monitoring of complex processes. Multicast allows broadcasts to be shared across multiple sites.
PixelNet 2.0 Delivers greater density of processing power and connectivity, which produces a price reduction per channel by 30-40% compared to its predecessor.
Backwards compatible with first generation PixelNet systems, PixelNet 2.0 It is easy to install and supports the auto-configuration feature in PixelNet Domain Control, that automatically assigns available inputs and outputs.
Content can be managed with PixelNet Domain Control software, allowing you to drag and drop input sources via on-screen mimicry, as well as provide control over multiple connected video walls.
Each input node allows the connection of four 4K or eight 1080p inputs, while each output node provides two 4K or six 1080p outputs, all mounted on frame.
PixelNet 2.0 features a large bandwidth network for real-time streaming sources, Pixel-perfect visual quality with uncompressed video and resolutions up to 4K. New data center-grade Jupiter switches by InFocus support Ethernet connections up to 100 GB.
