LG develops new 4K monitors for the healthcare environment

The high image quality provided by LG's new 4K monitors helps healthcare professionals make more accurate diagnoses.

The multinational LG has taken another step as a provider of display systems in the healthcare field with its new 4K monitors, “the first to offer this resolution on the market available to health professionals”, as the company points out.

The company, began its foray into this business segment with the development and presentation of its first models of monitors intended for the surgical field in 2016, now provides monitors with 4K resolution to provide professionals in this sector with very high definition images, that contribute to their work to make an extremely rigorous and precise diagnosis.

Proof of this is the recent agreement that LG has reached with the Women's Endoscopic Center in Madrid, with the aim of providing them with the most advanced multimedia technology, like these 4K equipment with IPS technology.

Given the importance of viewing images when making a diagnosis, LG 4K monitors feature precise calibration with backlight stabilization, for stable luminance levels, in addition to adapting the lighting conditions in the operating room and correcting the gray scale. They also incorporate Flicker Safe technology, which protects users' eyes from eye fatigue, so that the health professional is in the best possible conditions to carry out their work.

The new 4K monitors have IPX2 and IP35 protection levels against splashes and fluids, and biomedical images, as well as the information related to these are compatible with the Dircom medical exchange standard.
