Necsum carries out the visual integration and light sculpture of Plaza Río 2
A large transparent Led screen, a visual lintel that runs through one of the squares and a light sculpture with interactive sensors are some of the dynamic and visual elements of this shopping center in Madrid.
On the banks of the Manzanares River, the shopping center Rio Square 2 Not only does it have a beautiful location in one of the central green areas of the city: Madrid Rio, but it is one of the largest shopping centers in the same, with a surface of 130.000 m² that is distributed in stores, restoration and leisure.
In this environment, visitors to Plaza Río 2 are greeted with a large transparent Led screen, according to the integration project carried out by Necsum, specialist in audiovisual and interactive projects, digital architecture and artistic lighting and digital content, in addition to being responsible for the installation of other visual systems in this shopping center.
Located on the main façade of Plaza Río 2, built with granite and video curtain wall, this large format transparent Led screen – from 24 meters wide and 8 high, to occupy 192 m² – from the Chinese manufacturer Huasuny, It has a pixel pitch of 20 mm. to deliver sharp images in high light conditions.
Inside the shopping center, Necsum has installed four visual pillars with LED panels on all four sides, each of 1×4 metros (64 m²) of Ledman, with pixel pitch 3,9 mm. Added to this is a lintel that runs through the main square, 112×1 meters from this same manufacturer and with the same separation between pixels.
One of the elements installed by Necsum that most captures the attention of visitors due to its innovation and uniqueness is a light sculpture, composed of more than four hundred transparent sheets, enhanced by a dynamic flow of light that runs through the entire sculpture, flooding the main axis of the center with light and color.
As the company points out, “different sensors provide this infrastructure with interactivity, with which the public is made a participant in this experience. Design, “Architecture and lighting art come together to turn this light sculpture into the distinctive symbol of the center.”.
