The Idaho Convention Center (USA), Boise Center, wanted to offer his 165.000 guests a new meeting environment and, for it, renovated his building with 3.344 more square meters of new meeting spaces and a new lobby that welcomes you from a curved convex Led screen, designed with a team NanoLumens Nixel Series Truly Curved.

“This renovation aimed to show a modern convention center adapted to the 21st century, and this meant considering the latest AV technologies to create a greater impact and surprise our visitors.. And we did it with the inclusion of a new curved screen, where our flat digital systems used to hang. Now, instead of three standard televisions 90 inches combined showing a single image, we have an ultra-wide NanoLumens curved screen of 4,5 meters that can be seen from all angles, no bevels or seams to interrupt images”, comments Chris Morrison, Boise Center Audio Visual Manager.

In addition to the curvature requirement, Morrison explains that the reliability and ease of repair of NanoLumens displays played an important role in his choice.

When one of the three LCD screens 90 inches failed, The Boise Center realized that it would cost as much to repair as it would to replace., and that expensive option could eventually lead them to a situation where that model was no longer available when they needed another replacement.

Greg Bridges, Account Manager del integrador local Neurilink recommended the front-access NanoLumens Truly Curved display as the best option for this project.

The new 4.5 Nixel Series ultra-thin display×1,4 meters uses a pixel pitch of 2,5 mm. It has a resolution of 1,824×540 pixels and can be viewed up to a maximum of 160 degrees from the center. The core of NanoLumens curved display technology is the flexible building block that makes up all Nixel Series displays..

This technology is flexible for both convex and concave curved equipment and adjusts to the display mounting surface or curvature required, creating a system without spaces or seams. The end result is a better view of the horizon without black lines or loss of visibility of up to 160 degrees.

The screen installed at the Boise Center works 24×7 and is used to show promotional videos for the convention center, project the names of visiting companies or clients and welcome them personally. The center is producing additional graphics and animations with a professional content creator designed specifically for the NanoLumens display.
