Intronics markets Videon encoders and decoders in Spain

As an official distributor of this specialist in AV systems, Intronics expands its catalog with high-performance technology in video encoding and decoding.

The video has worked with large technology companies that have relied on its audiovisual expertise and high-performance video encoding and decoding products in very specialized markets, ranging from aviation, broadcast, sporting events to education and training.

Intronics, now official distributor in Spain of Videon, adds a team from Factor Small to its proposal for the industry, 1080p H.264 encoder/decoder based on Intel CE5300, as well as the first low-cost, low-power 4K30 HEVC/H.264 encoder/decoder, based on Qualcomm SnapDragon processor 820.

In this sense, CE5300 is the basis for two Videon products. Greylock 1,080p H.264 encoder/decoder includes HDMI input/output along with 3G-SDI input. The same set of features is found in the Sonora encoder, except for 3G-SDI input.

By combining the encoding/decoding power of CE5300 and the feature set developed by Videon, all this together with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, las soluciones ofertadas dan respuesta a una amplia gama de aplicaciones, to which is added the competitive price of Greylock and Shavano.

By developing the capacity of the Qualcomm platform, including dedicated HEVC/H.264 encoding hardware along with a quad-core ARM Kryo processor, Videon has created a product that not only accelerates the adoption of 4K video, but makes it easy to save bandwidth for those interested in HEVC encoding.
