The London club EartH, pioneer in installing L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound technology
Opened a few months ago, It is the first European live music venue that has a permanent installation with this technology, developed by L-Acoustics.
El club nocturno Evolutionary Arts Hackney (EartH), a new live music and cultural space located in Dalston, in East London, has opened its doors as the first of its kind to have the technology L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound of L-Acoustics in Europe.
The restoration and redesign of what was an art deco cinema, abandoned for forty years, It is a project that has come to life thanks to the team of Village Underground, founded in the London design area of Shoreditch by Auro Foxcroft, known for his commitment to experimental and innovative performance and art.
With this team's philosophy that art brings change, progress and transformation, EartH has an international live music program, performance, special discussions on comedy and film, etc. which is funded in part through the social investment community, to support ambitious social and artistic impact work to serve the local community resources and new opportunities, especially the young people of the area.
EartH is a multifunctional space made up of three main areas: the theater, a concert hall and a restaurant and social space. The evolutionary L-ISA system has been installed in the first space to offer the theater audience a more natural sound, clear and wide, creating a greater connection between artists and audiences.
Specifically, L-ISA consists of a front-end system of five Kara systems, flown equidistantly across the front of the stage, with a central subsystem of four KS28, ruffles at the front and above the center Kara pendant. Placed throughout the space, ten X8s have been installed, that provide the front lowering.
The surround sound system is provided by twelve Syvas - four per side., installed evenly and mounted on the left walls, right and back of the theater. Completing this installation is the aerial system of eight X8s hanging from the auditorium ceiling.
EartH's concert hall also benefits from traditional four-Kara left/right flown arrangements, topped with an SB18 on each side and four KS28 subwoofers stacked in the center floor, with four ARCS Wide as delay.
As Auro Foxcroft has pointed out, “We are very happy to work with L-Acoustics on this installation with their innovative L-ISA technology. EartH's philosophy is focused on presenting some of the best artistic talent and experiences that can make us think twice and leave us inspired.. L-ISA brings an incredible audio dimension to support these performances with its signature Hyperreal Sound, and opens a new facet of live performance”.
For your part, Paul McMullan, regional sales manager at L-Acoustics, points out that “L-ISA is a perfect combination to increase the value of the EarthH experience.”, with a unique sound installation in the UK, which will also serve as a showcase to show this new and innovative L-ISA technology to the industry”.
