Peerless-AV Smart City Kiosk: digital signage solution that combines functionality and aesthetics

Designed to be installed in an outdoor environment, This kiosk is available in four versions featuring high-brightness Xtreme displays from Peerless-AV (49 y 55”) and Samsung OHF (46 y 55”).

This solution is available in four versions: with Xtreme High Bright display 49 o 55 inches of Peerless-AV (KOP2549-XHB-EUK, KOP2555-XHB-EUK) and like a kiosk cabinet, designed with screens Samsung OHF the 46 o 55 inches (KOP2546-OHF-EUK, KOP2555-OHF-EUK).

The new kiosk is ideal for sharing corporate or community information, travel and weather details, as well as to find destinations, advertising or entertainment.

The Xtreme High Bright Outdoor Screen, included in models KOP2549-XHB-EUK and KOP2555-XHB-EUK, It is IP68 rated with one of the widest operating temperature ranges in the industry (-35 a 60 °C). The screen, completely sealed, It does not require air conditioning or a fan for cooling, making it a maintenance free solution. It has Full HD HD 1080p resolution to offer a bright and sharp image, even in direct sunlight.

The steel mesh on the back panel assists the Xtreme High Bright exterior screens with passive cooling and allows the Samsung OHF to expel hot and cold intake air. Kiosk storage area is tested to IP56 standards to prevent dust and water from entering, and is protected with filters and cooling fans to keep high-temperature outdoor-rated components at their ambient operating temperature.. It can also withstand winds of up to 140 mph.

The interactivity (with tactile touch 10 points) can be added to all four models with a plug option & play. This is also tested, according to IP65 standards, to protect from water and dust.

The Smart City Kiosk features a curved design, elegant and minimalist to integrate into any urban environment. Cables are protected within the tracks of each pedestal.

Installation is easy, without the need for cranes or forklifts, and access to the back of the screen, via a cam lock with tubular key on the rear panel of the Kiosk, provides security, while allowing for proper service and maintenance.

The Smart City Kiosk’s standard design makes it easy to transport and deploy, for 24/7 unattended operation, in a wide range of outdoor applications such as corporate, digital signage, retail, hospitality, sports venues, amusement parks, transportation, government, university settings and more. It is available in matte black or silver, but custom colours, branding and logo options are offered to meet personalisation requirements.
