D&b B8: Ultra-compact subwoofer for installations with limited space

d&B Audiotechnik has presented Prolight+Sound 2019, that today closes its doors, the ultra-compact B8-SUB subwoofer. With a vertical height of 170 mm, has a low profile, high performance and low frequency extension up to 43 Hz.

B8 subwoofer matches xC Series speakers, xS and E of d&b, with specific models for mobile applications (B8-SUB) and fixed (Bi8-SUB). This equipment fits into tiny spaces and is ideal for business environments, boats and small enclosures.

This active subwoofer includes two 6,5 with ferrite magnets housed in a bass-reflex box design. These precision-assembled motors achieve high extension at low frequencies from 170 Hz up to 43 Hz. Can be activated with all amplifiers d&b and achieves a maximum SPL of 122 dB for true full-range performance for low-profile subwoofer.

With flexible configuration options, the B8 and Bi8 subwoofers provide a complete sound reinforcement solution for a wide range of applications where form factor and size-ratio performance are just as important as true aural impact.
