Sony has announced its latest range of Bravia professional monitors, among which is the first 8K model. This consists of 20 different models that combine optimal image quality and design with functions to meet the audiovisual needs of modern organizations.
The new models include a TV tuner with 18 hours of functionality, plus Android compatibility 8.0, which speeds up the third-party APK installation process and includes an auto-launch app feature.
This provides AV professionals with more options to customize each monitor and reduce setup time for the end user by having applications (like teleconference) that start as soon as the computer is turned on.
New remote firmware update feature allows software updates to be applied to each monitor over IP. The current range of Sony BZ Bravia professional monitors will also be compatible with Android 8.0 via a software update.
“Our new and extensive offer, ranging from basic to high-end models, gives companies, educational institutions and businesses an unprecedented option to find the monitor that meets their audiovisual requirements and budgets without having to compromise on quality or functionality”, explains Thomas Issa, Head of corporate and education sector at Sony Professional Solutions Europe.
These teams, that join the XG7 series, WE6 y WG6, offer integration with TEOS Manage, the advanced workspace management solution, as well as with the TDM digital signage solution, which speeds up the creation of signage and its direct transfer through the cloud to Bravia professional monitors.
Besides, flagship models offer integration with TEOS Connect, that encourages greater collaboration by allowing end users to seamlessly share content simultaneously from their laptops to any Bravia professional monitor.
These stand out in terms of energy consumption, because they offer not only a sustainable and ecological solution, but also of great efficiency, which translates into savings in operating costs without sacrificing performance.
