Philips Professional Display Solutions y Crestron have teamed up to develop a native AVoIP solution with DM-NVX for your Philips large format displays.

Using the Open Pluggable Specification port (OPS) de Philips PDS, Crestron has worked with Intel to provide a network encoder, el DM-NVX-D80IoAV, that can instantly transform the latest Philips PDS large format displays into a certified Crestron solution. This allows 4K audio and video to be distributed over any network.

Anthony Tizzard, director comercial de Philips Professional Display Solutions (EMEA), supervised the collaboration. “We are delighted to announce this synergy with Creston, which brings greater dimension and functionality to our range of large format screens, especially in the corporate sector. This collaboration brings great benefits, to both integrators and end users”.

Crestron DM NVX decoder connects to the Philips OPS port and is powered by the display. This eliminates the need for cables and power supplies, while reducing installation costs and providing an integrated network AV solution, seamless. This smart technology also allows integration with Crestron XiO Cloud, an IoT-based platform that allows the deployment of the system without the need for programming and with the ability to monitor, Manage and control each screen from a single location.

DM NVX network AV is a scalable solution that also carries audio, USB y control. Besides, offers an optimal image on any network, whether from 1, 2,5, 5 o 10 Gb.

“Working with Intel, Crestron has created a 1G 4K solution 60 AV over IP based on Intel's open standard OPS slot. The NVX-D80 is included in native OPS slots, located on the back of professional screens, that combine enterprise-grade security and cloud management and provisioning XIO, based on Microsoft Azure technology”, comments Fred Bargetzi, Crestron technical director.

Interoperability and flexibility were key factors in the design of the DM-NVX-D80-IoAV. These OPS supported displays allow for tailored solutions to fit any application. Besides, The DM-NVX-D80-IoAV form factor allows displays to be easily mounted on the wall.
