The collegiate church of Santa María de Orreaga brings AV technology to its 12th century facilities

The main conference room has been equipped with a laser projector 5.000 Hitachi's LP-WU6500 WUXGA lumens and resolution and Vivitek NovoPro wireless collaboration system.

The distributor Satrustegi, by the hand of Charmex, has equipped the conference room of the Santa María de Orreaga de Roncesvalles collegiate church with an AV solution integrated with a laser projector Hitachi LP-WU6500 and NovoPro wireless collaboration system from Vivitek.

In this project, An important requirement was not to affect the aesthetics of this enclosure located among the Pyrenean mountains., north of Navarra. This is the starting point of the Jacobean route to Santiago de Compostela and where the pilgrim hostel was located., built at the end of the 12th century and restored for the Xacobeo 1993. It is a space of 30 meters long by 10 meters wide and 8 meters high.

“The installation of the screen was carried out with minimal work on the original stone, “The location of the projector is on the side above the sound cabinet so as not to add elements to the building.”, explains César Campo, Satrustegi commercial technician.

The LP-WU6500 is a 5.000 Ansi lumens, WUXGA resolution and laser technology. To encourage participation, The Novopro collaboration system has been installed that allows you to share content from PC, MAC and mobile devices in presentations over a wireless network.

To take advantage of the room's equipment, It is expected to give it the greatest possible use in meetings, with the pilgrims, neighborhood groups and other meetings organized by the church during the year.
