The new Absen MiniLED screen 1,5 mm drives demand from rental companies
The Chinese manufacturer has announced that the first production of its Aries AX Led screen 1,5 mm has been quickly sold out in the European market after the high number of orders requested.
The demand for Led NPP systems (of less than 2 mm de pixel pitch) for rental applications has been revealed with the new MiniLed screen from Absen, specifically its 1.5mm Aries AX model, which has sold its first initial batch on the European market, as confirmed by the manufacturer.
The audiovisual distributor PSCo, UK based, was the first in Europe to invest in this product from the Chinese manufacturer, with British rental companies DB Pixelhouse, Onyx and Catalyst at the forefront to add the MiniLed screen to their professional rental fleets to respond to their corporate event projects, conferences, competitions, exhibitions, etc.
The Aries AX1.5 series is the first Led NPP range (narrow pixel pitch) from this manufacturer, designed to respond to the growing demand for LED screens smaller than 2mm in rental applications. It is also suitable for use in fixed interiors thanks to its cabinet., 27.5”, which allows achieving a ratio of 16:9.
Thanks to its Integrated Matrix Device technology (IMD) y Common Cathode (CC), this screen is 2,5 times more resistant than conventional professional rental LED systems, to which is added a 20” reduction in energy consumption, according to manufacturer's data.
As Alex Couzins explains, director of marketing of Absen Europe, “This year there has been real demand for a LED 1,5 mm NPP in the rental market and we are very happy that PSCo is among the first companies in the world to offer its customers our Aries AX Led display of 1,5 mm, to which we have dedicated two years of development that have given rise to technological innovations and guaranteed exceptional visual performance to respond to the demands of this market”.
For your part, Liam Winter, PSCo Led Director, adds that “this new MiniLed 4 in 1 of Absen is an evolution and, ultimately, an upgrade from traditional SMD Led technology, “which sets the standard for the performance of LEDs today that meets the expectations for their use in rental.”.
Aries AX1.5 “has been designed from the ground up to deliver a new level of visual impact, with an aspect ratio panel 16:9, integrated pixel protection system, automatic locking mechanism, and support for UHD 4K and HDR10 resolution, which has been shortlisted as 'screen technology of the year' at the AV Awards, whose winner will be known on 11 October in London, added from Absen.
At the moment, This screen is exhibited in the Innovation House that PSCo has in the English town of Bracknell, as well as at the European headquarters of Absen in Rüsselsheim, in Germany.
