Philips Professional Display shows the Spanish market its innovation in Led screens
The multinational has carried out the first professional training in Madrid on its new indoor Led visual solutions and their versatile application options, in a clear commitment to become a benchmark in this growing market.
Professional AV channel integrators and installers, wholesalers and companies have attended the first training session on Led screens of the Philips Training Academy, organized in Madrid by the Spanish subsidiary of Philips Professional Display Solutions (PDS).
A training session to learn in detail the characteristics of the company's range of LED display products, from the manufacturing of panels and cabinets to their certification and versatile application options in different environments.
The indoor Led screen market and its adoption in the market is one of the company's strategic challenges, as pointed out to Digital AV Martijn van der Woude, business management director de Philips PDS (in the attached image).
“We have been developing outdoor LED solutions for years., such as video scoreboards and other displays, but in 2010 we stopped doing it. Now we take up this challenge with the introduction of our first indoor Led systems into the market.”.
There are two ranges -27BDL91xxL and 44BDL81xxL- who star in this Led display proposal, with thin pixel (fine pitch) and 27.5” and 44” cabinets, respectively.
Philips 27BDL91xxL is designed with fine pitch of 1,2 / 1,5 y 1,9mm, while the 44BDL81xxL range is sold in 2,8, 3,9 y 4,8mm. The company has also developed a complete kit for Full HD screens, in 110” formats (con 1,2mm pixel pitch); 137” (1,5mm) y 165” (1,9mm) and 4K versions.
Flexible Led Solutions, creative and reliable
In a growing and highly competitive market such as the Led display, increasingly in demand in applications that require new formats and unique designs with high brightness), certification, training and standardization for its installation and adoption are key elements for its adoption.
Faced with these challenges, Martijn van der Woude points to the differentials that Philips PDS offers in its Led indoor proposal. “Our Led screens have been designed with elements premium that other brands do not offer. The reliability of our systems is supported by advanced certifications and compliance with EU regulations on components and cabinets., con una instalación sencilla, and we provide a global approach, with a complete offer in technology and experience in the development of monitors, hotel TV systems, LCD screens, …which other companies lack”.
The corporate market, retail, hospitality and transportation are currently the focus of the strategic application of the new Philips PDS indoor Led range in the short term, “We will increase the product line to cover more sectors and designs; in which in addition to increasing the brightness we will offer more flexible formats (curved, creative, etc.) to cover the full range of customer needs in any environment”, this manager points out.
Upon its introduction into the Spanish market, that those attending this training of the new Led screens have learned in detail, Cesar Sanz, sales director Iberia Philips Professional Display Solutions (in the left image), explains that “the objective is to have a value channel that provides knowledge, reliability and services to customers of our Led range and that is why we are currently in talks with wholesalers and integrators”.
Although during his participation in WHEREAS 2019 The company has already advanced its innovations in LED display (more details in Digital AV), the imminent edition 2020, the last one to be held at the Amsterdam RAI, will have an important space in the Philips theatere (hall 10 – K170).
