Canon will take to ISE 2020 a complete ecosystem of innovation in 8K and 4K imaging

8K projection
As interest and demand for 8K increases, The ability to display and view images has become essential. To help the industry stay ahead of this trend, Canon will exhibit at ISE 2020 an 8K projection solution, in collaboration with media server software provider BY Stumpfl.

This manufacturer's Pixera Two server will help send and manage 8K content, captured with a Canon camera, ensuring your projectors can focus on delivering excellent, impactful 8K image quality.

Canon's latest developments in 8K broadcast lenses include the 7 general-purpose portable×10.7B KAS S, as well as the first box-type 8K telephoto lens (model SP51x15.5B). With a decade of development, These 8K lenses will begin to be used in the next Tokyo Olympics 2020, bringing viewers closer to the action, with spectacular resolution.

Canon has already experimented with 8K for the live broadcast of a rugby match in Japan, which was recorded with a camera and lens at this resolution from the manufacturer, and streamed to a Canon 8K HDR projection system and screen, composed of four 4K HDR projectors.
