Microsoft Teams reaches 75 millions of daily active users during the health crisis

This collaboration platform has connected in a single day more than two hundred million participants, and in the educational field they use it more than 183 institutions.

The current period of confinement, and start of de-escalation, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has made collaboration platforms an indispensable ally to maintain work activity, educational and social.

According to the data provided by Microsoft, more than 75 millions of daily active users use its Teams collaboration platform, and two-thirds of them have shared, collaborated or interacted with files through this tool. This solution has connected more than two hundred million participants in a single day, surpassing the 4.100 million minutes of meeting.

This is what Satya Nadella points out, CEO of Microsoft: "We have witnessed in two months the digital transformation planned for the next two years. From teamwork and remote learning, from sales and customer service to cloud infrastructure and security, we are working alongside customers every day to help them adapt and stay open in a world where everything is at a distance.".
