“Whether it's two panels or a hundred, We believe X-Line is the most complete and consistent video wall solution available on the market today.. We have focused on researching and understanding the frustrations experienced when using screens within meeting rooms and boardrooms., where it is absolutely vital to display the correct image and content clearly. This new range addresses these issues and provides the tools to help businesses present themselves in the best light.”, comments Harold Niericker, Product Strategist for Professional Displays at Philips Professional Display Solutions.
The X-Line range is the result of an analysis of the screen market in EMEA, which showed that the demand for digital video wall displays from 55-59 inches increased by 5% in 2019; while sales of 45-49 inches fell almost a 10% and those of 60 they collapsed a 37%.
Also abroad, X-Line video walls offer seamless visual performance, with a bezel 3,5 mm, providing near-seamless connectivity between panels, and FHD resolution (1.929×1.080), offering native UHD on a 2" video wall×2 with a shine of 500 cd/m2.
These new corporate video wall panels have “light sensors” optional that, combined with Philips PDS Pure Color Pro technology, offer greater brightness through custom color temperature adjustments. Screens automatically adjust to maintain high image quality, precise white balance and exact color consistency.
The displays can also be equipped with optional sensors of “human movement”, that increase or decrease their power depending on the activity in the room, perfect for businesses looking to reduce operating costs and conserve energy.
“Natural light is a common enemy of any screen. You can pass the time by closing the curtains, adjusting the screen or even asking people to sit in specific seats, but at Philips Professional Display Solutions we prefer that the user concentrate on what you do best and that the screens take care of the conditions, whether natural or indoor light”, Niericker adds..
In line with other displays in the company's product portfolio, The X-Line corporate video wall range is equipped with extensive levels of command control and remote management, taking advantage of the most used standards in corporate environments, including Philips Professional Display Solutions CMND platform that enables content creation, Advanced system connectivity and deployment through an easy-to-use interface.
Users can perform functions, either on one or multiple screens, such as input control and status monitoring, Resolving issues as they arise or performing important updates remotely. Its drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to publish any content.
You can also have the processing power of Android, with an optional CRD50 module, which can be easily inserted into one of the OPS slots, containing all necessary connections - including power supply- and eliminates the need to add an Android module for each screen.
