Arvol Dingess y Parker Shore, both from Toucan, have been responsible for launching the live broadcasts of the Secret Store, an idea that emerged during the downtime caused by COVID-19.
“Sometime in May, Value, our video manager in Tucán, It gave me the idea of doing a live show and I went for it.”, comments Shore, an Oklahoma City native who has been a lighting specialist at the firm for the past five years. “We made some sketches of the team, we built it and then presented it to my network of DJs. Since no one has performances at the moment, They have been very happy to do it”.
With few projects in the pipeline and tours on hold (Shore was supposed to be on the road as an L2/Laser programmer for Louis the Kid), The idea came together quite quickly with Secret Shop's first DJ sets.. The sets have not only provided musical relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have allowed the Tucán staff to perfect a new skill, which will almost certainly be essential in the near future.
According to those responsible for the assembly of the Tucán Secret Store, the design used would be suitable for any EDM rave. have been installed 24 Led moving heads Elation Rayzor Q7, that line the stage structure as the top edge of the video wall, while 8 Smarty Max hybrid moving heads populate an intermediate structure. Four floor-standing DaVinci's provide silhouette lighting while Platinum Beam Extreme moving heads are scattered throughout the rig..
Two other Oklahoma City production companies have lent their support to the project, CNS Productions supplying cameras, wiring and switching; and LaserWolf FX providing laser projectors along with pixel beam bars for a DJ laser cage.
