Matrox QuadHead2Go Q155: controller card for videowall configurations of multiple screens

This solution accelerates the artistic development in the configuration of videowall. Designed for digital signage applications and control rooms, captures a video signal, up to 4Kp60 and 8Kx8K, to display on up to four screens with a resolution of 1,920×1.200 per departure.

The multi-monitor controller card Matrox QuadHead2Go Q155 powers up to four Full HD displays from a single HDMI video source, including HDCP devices.

This solution provides OEMs, system integrators and AV installers an innovative tool to add to a videowall, quickly and easily, more screens of any type and size. Designed to integrate into Matrox-based or third-party platforms, QuadHead2Go is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including digital signage, control and transmission room.

This controller card captures a single video signal, up to 4Kp60 and 8Kx8K, to display on up to four screens, with resolutions up to 1,920×1.200 per departure. Input content could come from any HDMI source, including digital signage or multimedia players, and laptops, while the screens can be arranged in a variety of rectangular artistic or classical configurations 2×2, 2×1, 3×1, 4×1, 1×2, 1×3 or 1×4.

Multiple QuadHead2Go units can be paired to add more displays and/or combined with Quad-4K Matrox D-Series graphics cards to power up to 64 1920x1080p60 monitors from a system.

QuadHead2Go Q155 guarantees a plug and play when using the default horizontal setting of 2×2, without having to install software or connect to a video source. Through the control buttons on the device, users can toggle between preset settings to easily select and configure the screen layout, as well as the ability to adjust the bezels to ensure a perfect image on the screens.
Also includes HDCP support for displaying content from HDCP-compatible devices.

Software and APIs

Matrox PowerWall is an easy-to-use management software that allows you to customize settings and control display outputs independently, either in offline or online mode.

The Matrox QuadHead2Go REST API is also available for integrators and developers looking to create custom features and applications.
