Atlona expands its 4K HDMI proposal with the Avance extension kits

Based on the manufacturer's UHD-EX range, Five HDBaseT transmitters and receivers provide a reliable, cost-effective answer to extending 4K/UHD AV signals, solving HDMI cabling limitations.

The five new HDBaseT transceiver kits that have just been presented Atlona and that make up the Avance series offer easy integration to carry 4K/UHD video signals over long distances, without being subject to the limitations of HDMI cables, especially suitable for applications in conference rooms and large training classrooms.

In this sense, Four of the Avance series kits make it easy to stream 4K/UHD 60Hz video 4:2:0 until 40 meters away, or video with resolution 1,080p 60Hz up to 70 meters using a Cat 6A/7 twisted pair cabling system. The fifth kit allows 4K 60Hz video transmission 4:2:0 from up to 100 metros.

Among other features that simplify its deployment for integrators and installers, Avance series kits feature Edid filtering, preventing the extension of unsupported resolutions to increase the integrity and reliability of the video transmission, while clock stretching improves interoperability with low quality HDMI video sources.

Added to this is the integration of HDBaseT link testing for easy cabling verification, termination and link quality at the installation point, as well as a new two-way remote power feature (in the AVA-EX70C-BP and AVA-EX100CE-BP kits), allowing you to choose where the power is received from (from transmitter to receiver or vice versa).

Now available on the market through the channel of partners authorized by Atlona, These five extension kits have a ten-year warranty.

Avance Series Kits

  • AT-AVA-EX70-2PS: extender kit 40 4K/UHD meters with local transmitter and receiver.
  • AT-AVA-EX70: extender kit 40 4K/UHD meters with remote power (The transmitter powers the receiver via HDBaseT).
  • AT-AVA-EX70C: extender kit 40 4K/UHD meters with remote power, bi-directional extension of RS-232 and IR control signals.
  • AT-AVA-EX70C-BP: extender kit 40 4K/UHD meters with RS-232 and IR control, as well as bi-directional remote feeding (the transmitter feeds the receiver or vice versa).
  • AT-AVA-EX100CE-BP: extender kit 100 4K/UHD meters with Ethernet, RS-232, IR control and two-way remote power.
