Crestron Serie 70: new scheduling panels for Microsoft Teams

The new programming panels of the Series 70 of Crestron have been integrated with the teams of Microsoft Teams for business applications, just as the manufacturer has announced, to improve the management of meeting spaces more efficiently.

Thanks to it, Team meeting scheduling functionality is built into the screens, giving an organization's employees the ability to manage and monitor room availability and capacity using business tools and software they are already familiar with, like Microsoft Exchange and Teams.

The new programming panels of the Series 70 Crestron for Teams “provide a native experience for office workers, with a complete overview of the status of each room in real time, including occupation, availability, cleaning, etc. for any space that can be reserved”.

Employees use Teams dashboards to view meeting room details, book it if it is free or see upcoming reservations and easily identify the availability of a room in real time. Designed to be installed outside the meeting room, Crestron programming panel displays data from inside the room to people approaching it, avoiding problems before they arise.

Network-based occupancy sensors provide data to notify employees when a room is at full capacity or automatically release space if no one shows up. They can also locate a nearby available room with the function of the same name, in case someone is busy.

Series programming panels 70 of Crestron are available on the market, with a firmware update for Microsoft Teams in the first quarter 2021. Manufacturer customers can install hardware now and connect to Exchange, with the ability to switch to the Teams dashboard experience when available.

Available in black and white finishes, The new panels feature a modern design and a thin bezel with sizes of 7″ y 10”. Crestron offers a variety of options for mounting panels to drywall, masonry, glass, studs and other surfaces.
