Prolights presents its ranges of Astra Beam and Astra Wash luminaires

The news from the Italian manufacturer Prolights are the new IP65 rated Astra Beam 260IP moving beam light and the Astra Wash7Pix and Wash19Pix Led luminaires.

Astra Beam260IP is sharper, brighter and more resistant to the elements than other devices in its class, and includes a new lamp manufactured by Osram: Sirius HRI 260W Pro, which has a long useful life of 6.000 hours, with almost zero maintenance.

With a robust and completely sealed aluminum alloy chassis and IP65 certified to withstand water, dust and changing atmospheric conditions, Astra Beam260IP produces a 2° high contrast parallel pure light beam, with an extraordinary output of half a million lux at 10 metros.

This new device offers a wide variety of control options including DMX and RDM, wireless and Ethernet protocols such as Art-Net and sACN.

New Led Wash luminaires

Prolights has also presented its new series Astra Wash, composed of luminaires 7Pix y 19Pix, with LED emitters 7 y 19 x 40 watts, manufactured by Osram, with RGBW color mixing, and with a power of 4.000 lumens and 10.000 lumens, respectively.

Both Astra Wash devices are fully calibrated to a default value of 8,000K, cold white. They also have a newly designed front lens and glass light rods., meaning they can achieve exceptionally high optical efficiency across the entire zoom range.

Both luminaires are protected by a new lens coating technology that helps increase luminosity, protecting them from surface scratches and adding antistatic properties to prevent dust deposits, what contributes to . reduce cleaning and maintenance cycles.

Astra Wash 7Pix and 19Pix have extremely fast and silent optical movements, with a zoom range of 1:13, from a very narrow beam of 4º to a wide wash spread of 56º and 54º, respectively. Front lenses can also accept optical accessories, as a panel to help control beam shape.

These luminaires have increased pixel performance, supporting individual pixel control, via DMX or Ethernet based protocols, or with the built-in pixel macros, User-customizable and designed to work seamlessly in synchronization.

Besides, Astra Wash19Pix has an additional outer pixel ring as a side effect.
