He Ministry of Science and Innovation has granted this recognition to Netipbox Technologies for a development, in collaboration with your startup nsign.tv, which allows the content of the screens to be adapted in a personalized way to the audience present in an establishment.

Artificial intelligence in the field of digital signage configures the solution Netipbox Technologies, AV engineering specialized in consulting, development, integration and maintenance of solutions for the digital transformation of physical spaces, which has obtained the seal of Innovative SME, granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

This project is based on the automatic attribution of content based on the gender and age group of the audience, obtained thanks to facial recognition algorithms. The project has also received a CDTI credit of 220.000 euros.

One of the pending subjects of digital signage is to collect the analysis of what is happening in front of the screens in physical spaces.

This project, developed with the team of nsign.tv the startup of Netipbox Technologies that is being accelerated by the program Shuttle (more data in Digital AV), has a double objective: on the one hand, Identify who the content is being shown to at any given time and by each device, so that the corresponding business departments can analyze their audiences.

This functionality allows content to adapt, in a segmented or personalized way, to the audience present in an establishment at all times.

Personalized since, thanks to facial recognition (in compliance with data protection law, since it does not store any image or personal identification of the audience), The platform can automatically activate certain content based on the gender and/or age group of whoever is looking at that screen at any given time..

All information, coming from the cameras that collect the images, are processed on a graphics processor locally at the customer's premises and on their network to respect privacy, according to what the GDPR dictates, and sent to the nsign.tv cloud platform, that automates the activation and distribution of information by the set of devices that will end up displaying the appropriate information, at the time chosen for the correct audience.

The solution, distributed by Netipbox Technologies in a hardware and software package, It is ideal for its retail application, restaurants and shopping centers, “and it is not designed only for large spaces and budgets, but it can be implemented with relatively low costs so that establishments with only a camera and a screen can already benefit from this technology”, they point out from the company.
