Virtualware VR training at Adif

The multi-user VR room, deployed with the platform Virtualware Viroo, will allow interactive training sessions to prepare the operating staff of Adif in their work in railway infrastructures.

The Railway Infrastructure Manager (Adif), Spanish public entity in charge of the management of the national railway network, has awarded to Virtualware the creation of a new generation of VR training simulators for training in construction operations and maintenance of railway infrastructures.

The contract, of about one million euros, establishes the standards and qualities of the simulators based on virtual reality technology that Adif will use in its commitment to innovation to improve its training processes.

One of the main elements of the contract will be the installation of a virtual reality room of 250 square meters in Valencia, destined to become the new training headquarters in which they will be able to improve the capacities and skills of their staff through different training pills.

The Multi-User VR Training Room, deployed on the innovation platform Viroo, will allow interactive and realistic training sessions to prepare Adif operating personnel safely in their work in railway infrastructures.

Through full-scale collaborative environments, the railway undertaking may set up, manage and deploy your own work sessions, in addition to connecting and collaborating with future strategic centers located in other parts of the world.

Viroo puts at the service of Adif an innovation tool in virtual reality that reduces costs, risks and time, improving efficiency and the learning process.
