Daktronics will provide the new 360º video scoreboard and the fascia of the Santiago Bernabéu

Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations Real Madrid, and Ivan del Río, regional manager of Daktronics, have signed a global and multi-year collaboration agreement, by which the manufacturer becomes the supplier of the 360º video scoreboard and the first amphitheater fascia to be installed in the stadium.

Thanks to this alliance, Daktronics will be in charge of designing, manufacture and install together with Legaz Architecture and Engineering, your partner for installations and maintenance, a system of more than 3.700 square meters of Led screens in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, including the video scoreboard and the band made up of LED screens that will run along the first ring of the renovated stadium.

Ivan del Rio, Daktronics regional manager, recognizes that “in the process of deciding which design to implement, different ideas were considered and examined, formats and various existing projects were studied, until reaching the solution Halo 360 degrees”.

With this configuration of Daktronics Led screens, “The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium will be at the forefront of technology and at the same level as the best stadiums in the world,” Del Río emphasizes.. 360º with eighteen Led screens

The video scoreboard 360 degrees combines eighteen Led screens, both inside and back. It will be a fundamental part of the match day experience, as well as in other events that take place in the renovated stadium.

The interior corners will have screens that will allow the image to be curved to offer a continuous and uninterrupted view of the digital content to all fans and attendees of the events being held..

All screens will be 13HD pixel resolution to provide excellent image clarity and contrast at every seat. Besides, will offer the possibility of displaying a large image or several areas of content. May include live video, instant replays, statistics, graphics, sponsorship animations and messages.

Daktronics will also include its solution Show Control in this sports facility. This system provides a combination of screen control software, video processing, data integration and playback hardware, setting up an easy-to-use production solution.
