Vari-Lite NEO X15: lighting console for theaters and concerts

Vari-Lite, brand of Signify, has unveiled the family of lighting consoles Neo X15, Designed for use in performing arts centers, stadiums, houses of worship and schools.
“Large format entertainment lighting consoles are typically focused on the theatrical environment or live events., but not in both”, explains Jon Hole, Global Product Manager for Vari-Lite Controls at Signify. "However, many installations are multifunctional and need the capabilities of a premium console that works for different event types and experience levels. “The X Series consoles offer a feature-rich, customizable platform that is perfect for both theatrical lighting and live events.”.
The new X15 is Vari-Lite's flagship high-performance lighting console, that offers 15 multifunctional motorized playbacks and backlit encoders, and can generate more than 50.000 ready to use channels.
Its intuitive design includes two monitors, a touch control screen and audio I/O connectivity, which makes it easy to integrate lighting signals with sound effects, videos, etc.
The console is expected to be available early next year NEO X5 of 5 faders. A smaller team, with the same processor, build quality and 100 DMX universes than the X15.

The new software Neo 4.0 of the X Series helps designers find the perfect look in less time by including an advanced effects engine that supports pixel mapping, media playback, timelines and more.
